Happy Halloween!!

This was such a fun halloween. Mya got to dress up the entire week, and loved it. We had a hard time getting her to decided what to be, but she finally decided Snow White. Emma didn't have much say, but she was adorable in her ladybug costume!

we started out the week with our ward's chili cook-off/trunk o treat. It was so fun, but very cold! Emma loved getting handed food from everyone, and Mya just loved being a princess.


Then Mya had a halloween party at Preschool. She was a little shy to begin with, but Emma went up with her and they both did fine. :) She was so excited to be a princess like her teacher.

Then it was on to carving pumkins. Mya was so excited and was insistent that her pumpkin had a sad face. Emma loved it until she touched the pumpkin guts, then she lost interest really fast and just because she is emma, she had to taste it :)
Then it was on to Trick or Treating. Emma was hilarious! she loved all the food and was determined to go to every house. She HAD to walk to the door, get the candy and put it in her bucket all by herself. That wore off soon enough and mom helped. Mya was such a big girl and did such a great job helping her sister. Every house we would go to she would say, "may i have some candy? oh thank you, Happy halloween." It was so cute! (her dad taught her to say that at our ward trunk or treat)
